General Statement of Job
The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for assisting in all Human Resources administrative functions for SIS employees and management and perform special projects as assigned. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Data Conception: Requires the ability to compare and/or judge the readily observable functional, structural, or compositional characteristics (whether similar to or divergent from obvious standards) of data, people, or things.
Interpersonal Communication: Requires the ability to express oneself and exchange information related to administrative duties.
Language Ability: Requires the ability to communicate with and before others with poise, voice control, and confidence using correct English and well modulated voice.
Intelligence: Requires the ability to learn and understand relatively complex principles and techniques related to administrative and clerical duties; to make independent judgments in absence of supervision; to acquire knowledge of topics related to primary occupation.
Numerical Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize mathematical formulas; add, subtract, multiply and divide figures; determine percentages; determine time weight.
Position: Must be able maintain a stationary position combined with the ability to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to push, pull, and transport up to 20 pounds.
Environmental Conditions: Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

- Onboarding of new hires, including ensuring the accuracy of new hire paperwork and all other employee related documents
- Maintain electronic HRM personnel files including licensing requirements
- Address ad hoc employee and management Human Resources questions, as well as resolve basic or filter complex personnel issues to the appropriate parties
- Perform audits on employee-related files in coordination with other departments
- Other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
- Experience in general office setting with clerical or related experience
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must posses the ability to function in stressful situations
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills required
- An enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
